Welcome to Student Webserver

This server is setup to provide web services to students at the University solely to support their academic studies.

Users of Student Webserver are advised to read the Acceptable Use of ICT Facilities For Students Policy especially the section on Publishing Information on the Internet.

The Following features are currently avaiable on the server

  • HTML - static web pages.
  • PHP - server side scripting language, see www.php.net.
  • CGI - server side scripting language, see www.perl.org.
  • Disk Quota - Default set to 20MB per student, however this can be increased if requested by a tutor.

    • In order for you to use the webserver you will need to activate your webspace first.   

Note : The activation of your new webspace account will take appoximately 15 minutes. 


    If you have already activated your webspace you can access your own web page using:

     http://studweb.north.londonmet.ac.uk/~username
